"A vintage accustomed to honors (several times Favorite) that maintains its good reputation in 2019 and its lively style. On the nose, ripe fruit, thyme and garrigue. On the palate, richness, beautiful spices, mellow tannins, a silky texture and preserved freshness that gives the whole a lot of verve and elegance. A must-have from the appellation." About wine:
A cuvée accustomed to honors (several times Favorite) that maintains its good reputation in 2019 and its lively style. On the nose, ripe fruit, thyme, and garrigue. On the palate, richness, beautiful spices, mellow tannins, a silky texture, and preserved freshness that gives the whole a lot of verve and elegance. A must-have from the appellation.
About the estate:
Guy Vanlancker, a former teacher from Wallonia, found himself in 1981, by chance, on the high slopes of Calamiac, where he began planting on land that had been neglected. He patiently developed the 12-hectare estate, which is in the process of converting to organic farming, on the slopes of La Livinière. His son Ambroise took over the property in 2021.

About wine:
After opening, the garrigue comes back to the nose. The palate is full-bodied, with mellow tannins and a finish with a hint of rockrose.
