Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on 07/15/2024
Discover this terroir wine with its slightly rustic and surprisingly invigorating tone. It reveals a juicy and supple palate, unfolding a medley of lively flavors of fresh red fruits against a backdrop of limestone acidity that ensures a lively and precise finish. The lovely freshness of the fruit lingers in a finish that is more mouthwatering than powerful. Although still young, this characterful Minervois was served for the family meal on July 14th with a leg of lamb cooked mechoui style, with fresh mint and a mixture of potatoes, tomatoes, and black olives. Rating = 3.8.
