"A lovely wine with a generous, convivial, and pleasant character, perfect for sharing with friends!"

Les Traverses Rouge plays on the theme of indulgence. Its nose is discreet, with aromas of black fruits and cherries, heralding an elegant aromatic palette. On the palate, it is a balanced and refined wine. Notes of garrigue bring a touch of freshness and we find a subtle minerality on the finish.

Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on 07/15/2024

Discover this terroir wine with its slightly rustic and surprisingly invigorating tone. It reveals a juicy and supple palate, unfolding a medley of lively flavors of fresh red fruits against a backdrop of limestone acidity that ensures a lively and precise finish. The lovely freshness of the fruit lingers in a finish that is more mouthwatering than powerful. Although still young, this characterful Minervois was served for the family meal on July 14th with a leg of lamb cooked mechoui style, with fresh mint and a mixture of potatoes, tomatoes, and black olives. Rating = 3.8.
