Review by Mr. GILLES D. Published on July 15, 2024

Discover this terroir-driven wine with a slightly rustic yet surprisingly invigorating character. It reveals a juicy, supple palate and unfolds a medley of vibrant flavors of fresh red fruits that are ever-present, supported by a limestone-driven acidity that lends it a lively and precise quality. The lovely freshness of the fruit lingers into a finish that’s more mouthwatering than powerful. Although still young, this characterful Minervois was served at our family meal on July 14 alongside a méchoui-style leg of lamb, with fresh mint and a medley of potatoes, tomatoes, and black olives. Rating = 3.8.
