Review by Mr. Gilles D. Published on July 15, 2024
Discover this terroir-driven wine with a slightly rustic yet surprisingly invigorating character. It reveals a juicy, supple palate and unfolds a medley of vibrant flavors of fresh red berries, underpinned by a mineral acidity that lends it a lively and precise edge. The lovely freshness of the fruit lingers in a finish that is more mouth-watering than powerful. Although still young, this characterful Minervois was served for the July 4th family dinner alongside a méchoui-style leg of lamb, with fresh mint and a medley of potatoes, tomatoes, and black olives. Rating = 3.8.
