15/20

Gault & Millau

Note: Gault Millau 15/20
This bright, pale pink rosé with violet highlights opens with an initial nose of exotic fruit (mango, lychee) and citrus (lemon, tangerine), followed by lovely floral notes (rose). On the palate, the attack is fresh, fruity, crisp, supple and long... A fine table rosé!

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (guide 2025) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)

About the domain :

After Bernard Durand, who accompanied the Pic Saint-Loup's conversion from sheep-dominated polyculture to its recognition as a quality wine-growing zone, Régis Valentin, his nephew, has taken over the technical reins. Without fanfare, this is an estate to seek out for its powerful yet tasty Cuvée Vieilles Vignes, its Clos des Combes and its Grande Cuvée. The Cuvée Madame is even more ambitious, and the rosé is consistently delicious.

Guide Hachette des vins

Guide Hachette des vins

Domaine noté (guide 2025) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)

About the domain :

Régis Valentin, oenologist and cellar master, took over the estate created in 1960 by the Durand-Valentin families in 2001. He produces wines from 80 ha of vines (in organic conversion since 2019) occupying a beautiful terroir of hard limestone and red clay. A sure bet in the Languedoc.
