"Discover this great wine from Château Capion, with its wonderfully balanced style"
“Made from a blend of destemmed Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, the 2017 Terrasses Du Larzac is a medium- to full-bodied, concentrated wine with powerful notes of chocolatey black fruit, scorched earth, truffle, and garrigue. It has a hint of oak in the background, good fruit purity, and great length, and I’d bet this is an exceptional wine.” (Jeb Dunnuck).

Wine rated (2019 guide) 92–95/100 (Outstanding wine)
About the wine:
The 2017 Terrasses du Larzac, tasted as a blend representative of several barrels, is impressive.Violet, crushed pepper, vanilla, and blackcurrant are all present on the nose and in the long finish of this medium- to full-bodied, fleshy wine. It may not be as concentrated as the 2016, but it seems more elegant and well-rounded.

Wine rated (2024 guide) 90/100
About the wine:
An intense, full-bodied, and generous red wine, a blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre. On the nose, it offers notes of sweet berries, roasted meat, warm spices, and cloves. On the palate, it is full-bodied with silky tannins. Dense, with a rich core of berries, sweet spices, and a firm finish. Ready to drink or suitable for aging.

Made from a blend of destemmed Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, the 2017 Terrasses Du Larzac is a medium- to full-bodied, concentrated wine with powerful notes of chocolatey black fruit, burnt earth, truffle, and garrigue. It has a hint of oak in the background, good fruit purity, and plenty of length, and I’d bet that this is an exceptional wine.
