"Prix Plaisir for this fruity, well-balanced Cabernet Franc, the archetypal easy-drinking wine".

"Easy to drink, this Cabernet Franc immediately delivers a beautiful fruity expression. This is followed by a supple, fine palate with light, mellow tannins. A bottle to be enjoyed in its early years with pissaladière or cured meats". (Le Guide Hachette 2026).

About the wine:

Easy to drink, this Cabernet Franc immediately delivers a beautiful fruity expression. This is followed by a supple, fine palate with light, mellow tannins. In its early years, this wine should be served with pissaladière or cured meats.

About the domain :

Run by the younger generation, Stéphane, Julien and Vincent Denis, who arrived in 2003, 2006 and 2009 respectively, this is a family business that dates back to 1920; 5 ha at its origins, 90 ha today. A flagship estate in the Haut-Layon region, renowned in particular for its red wines, but also very much at ease with white and rosé wines. A (very) safe bet.
