The 2012 Grand-Mont is dazzling, with a finely crafted structure that is full-bodied yet elegant, and remarkable for its freshness and length.

About the estate:

Emmanuel Caslot and his sister Laurie carry on the work of thirteen generations with love and dedication at this historic estate in Bourgueil. Here, Cabernet Franc is vinified with great care to subtly express the terroirs of sand, clay, and limestone found on the lower, middle, and upper slopes. Each label is thoughtfully adorned with a color that reflects the wine’s intensity and complexity: from bright red for the Peu Muleau to deep purple for the Grand-Mont. These iconic Bourgueil wines highlight the refined, cool austerity of Cabernet Franc while embodying a magnificent, smooth texture. Let’s commend the bottle aging in tuffeau stone cellars prior to release.
