Domaine de La Chevalerie

Domaine de la Chevalerie is a perfect example of the Bourgueil appellation. Located at the crossroads of Touraine and Anjou in the Loire Valley, the family-owned Domaine de la Chevalerie is run by Emmanuel and Laurie Caslot, the children of Pierre Caslot, who passed away in 2014. The vivacious Stéphanie Caslot passed away in February 2021. 

This talented duo manages the Domaine de la Chevalerie vineyard according to the principles of organic farming, carrying on a tradition dating back over 350 years to produce flavorful wines that truly reflect their unique terroirs.

Whether from single-vineyard or special cuvées, the Bourgueils of Domaine de la Chevalerie are as straightforward as the Cabernets that compose them, deep and always delicious in their youth. Although a single contiguous plot, the estate’s 38 hectares boast multiple geological identities. For generations, careful observation has allowed these nuances to be expressed in the Domaine de la Chevalerie’s specific vintages.
