Domaine Charles Joguet

The Charles Joguet estate extends its vineyards within the Chinon appellation, located in the heart of the Loire Valley. Founded in 1957 by Charles Joguet himself, he ran the estate for forty years with passion and fervor. Today, Domaine Charles Joguet is in the expert hands of his closest colleague and partner, Jacques Genet. With the same convictions and philosophy, he continues the mission initiated by the founder, surrounded by an experienced team. Since the 2016 vintage, the entire vineyard has been converted to certified organic farming.

Since the 2006 vintage, Kevin Fontaine, head of production, has been the man in charge of the vineyard and the wine. An accomplished winemaker, he also exercises his talents in the vineyard with the help of Luc Conte, chief winemaker. A precise, enthusiastic, and warm taster, Kevin puts all these qualities to good use to raise Domaine Charles Joguet 's Chinon as high and as far as possible in the hierarchy of Loire wines....
