Guide Hachette des vins

Wine noted (guide 2025) 1*Star (Very successful wine)

Rated estate (2026 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the wine:

With notes of white flowers and orchard fruits, this crémant offers a fresh and well-balanced profile. A simple, elegant sparkling wine, perfect as an aperitif—perhaps paired with a plate of shrimp.

About the estate:

Led by the younger generation—Stéphane, Julien, and Vincent Denis, who joined the business in 2003, 2006, and 2009, respectively—this has been a family business since 1920; it started with 5 hectares and now spans 90 hectares. A flagship estate in Haut-Layon, renowned in particular for its red wines, but also highly skilled in producing whites and rosés. A (very) safe bet.
