Domaine Saint-Nicolas

Since the fall of 1995, Domaine Saint-Nicolas has been expanding its vineyard in the Loire Valley, covering 32 hectares cultivated using biodynamic methods, without the use of herbicides, fertilizers, or synthetic chemicals. Domaine Saint-Nicolas produces various wines under the Fiefs Vendéens appellation of origin.

In 1960, Patrice Michon settled in Brem-sur-Mer and gradually purchased vineyards to expand his wine-growing estate. In 1970, he moved to Île-d’Olonne and built a modern winemaking facility there. Joined in 1984 by his two sons, Thierry and Eric, he revolutionized traditional Vendée practices to give the wines of Domaine Saint-Nicolas a very distinctive character and identity.
