Château de Tracy - Pouilly-Fumé Haute Densité 2019
91/100
Bettane & Desseauve
"This parcel comes from limestone soils planted here at a rate of 17,000 vines per hectare. This high density offers a bouncy frame with chalky accents that perfectly stretch the finish." (Le Guide Bettane + Desseauve) The vines draw their reserves more deeply from the soil, giving this cuvée great volume and a fine expression of the terroir, combining finesse, concentration and vivacity. A rare cuvée with incredible length!

About the domain :
Under the impetus of Juliette d'Assay, Tracy is an emblem of the Pouilly-Fumé appellation. Overlooking the Loire, its vineyards are devoted to Sauvignon Blanc, the estate's specialty. The different types of soil, ranging from flinty clay to marl and limestone, make it possible to produce a number of cuvées imbued with these terroirs, all of which are sure-fire values that never disappoint. Everything is in progress, and the prestige cuvées are impressive. An estate to follow closely.
