Château de Tracy
Château de Tracy stands on a rocky spur overlooking the Loire, in a commune that bears its name. This family estate was taken over in 2014 by Juliette d'Assay, former magazine photographer and youngest of the siblings. That same year, the family vineyard was awarded the HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) label in recognition of its virtuous philosophy and farming methods that respect natural balances.

The Château de Tracy vineyard extends over 33 hectares of hillsides a few kilometers from Pouilly-sur-Loire, in the Loire Valley. Exclusively planted with Sauvignon Blanc, the vineyard includes a variety of terroirs that give the wines different expressions: the flinty clay of the Butte de Tracy produces wines with a strong, powerful, clear-cut character; the Kimmeridgian and Portlandian limestone of the Champs du Cri plateau produce rich, elegant wines on flinty terroirs.

A little originality: an effervescent with Chardonnay planted on a limestone vein terroir named "Dame de Tracy".

Tracy & Cie

In 2017, the château team also created the négoce side of the business to broaden horizons to new possibilities. This approach is part of a qualitative vision, fueled by curiosity, the desire to discover and help others discover Gems nestled in the heart of vineyards with good value for money. Tracy & Cie, a small-scale wine merchant, enables us to forge new, close partnerships with winemakers who are committed to the values of farming and their terroir, and to create micro-cuvées that are sincere and committed to healthy, respectful agriculture.
