Sylvain Bruneau Vigneron
The estate Bruneau-Dupuy is a family story that has been unfolding in Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil for several generations, and is now being written by Sylvain Bruneau. The vineyard, protected to the north by the forest, extends over 22 hectares of vines that have been certified organic since 2016.
Thanks to south-facing slopes covered with old vines on clay-limestone soils, the wines are full-bodied and long on the palate, with pronounced red fruit aromas.
The other part of the Bruneau vineyard is planted on sandy soils, bringing more lightness and fresh fruit. The king grape variety is the Cabernet Franc, typical of the region. Sylvain Bruneau produces mainly red wines with his 4 cuvées: Tradition, Vieilles Vignes, Réserve and l'Éclosion.
