Sourced from the only clay-limestone terroir in the Bonnigal-Bodet range, the 2023 Chenin Buisson exudes aromas of pear, peach, spices, white lilac, and candied citrus. Medium- to full-bodied, ample, and fleshy, it has more texture than the Clos de Beauce, with a creamy core of fruit and a salty, mineral finish. It needs time to open up.

When they took over the estate in 2015, Jean-Baptiste Bonnigal and Stéphane Bodet cut the production area in half to focus on their best plots in Amboise, where Côt (Malbec) and Chenin are showcased. You can sense a pursuit of finesse, luscious body, and floral notes in the expression of these vibrant reds. For the whites, special care is taken with the extensive range of dry Chenins sourced from specific lieux-dits.
