Château Minuty
Built during the reign of Napoleon III, Château Minuty was restored in 1930 by Gabriel Farnet. He replanted the entire vineyard and ledChâteau Minutyto its designation as a "Cru Classé de Côtes de Provence" in 1955.
In 1960, Monique Farnet, Gabriel’s daughter, and her husband Etienne Matton set about planting traditional Provençal grape varieties such as Rolle, Grenache, and Tibourenc, and reduced yields in order to produce high-quality wines.
Since 1990, the third generation—Jean-Etienne and François Matton—has taken over the management of this prestigious estate, which spans 70 hectares. The wines of Château Minuty now bear a distinctly Provençal character, thanks to the shift from Carignan and Ugni Blanc to Grenache and Rolle.
