"Freshness and indulgence in a bottle!"

Gamine, made from young vines intended for the Saint-Joseph and Côte-Rôtie vintages, is a charming, approachable wine that can be enjoyed at any time. Fresh and fruity, it perfectly embodies the Syrah of the Northern Rhône. Its expressive nose reveals aromas of fresh red fruits, a hint of spice, and delicate notes of violet. On the palate, it is fresh, lively, and fruity, with supple, well-integrated tannins. It has a smooth texture, lovely liveliness, and an elegant finish.

Rated estate (2023 guide): 4*Stars (Producers of the very highest quality, the pride of French viticulture)

About the estate:

What a meteoric rise for this up-and-coming winemaker, who has been in business since only 2009. The constant care he devotes to his various vineyards and his meticulous work in the cellar have enabled him to produce Saint-Joseph, Condrieu, and Côte-Rôtie wines that rank among the very best in their respective appellations. In 2020, the Côte-Rôtie Fongeant borders on perfection. The real challenge for wine lovers will be to get their hands on a few bottles.

Rated Estate (2024 Guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often boasting fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the estate:

Founded in 2008, this winery has been making a name for itself year after year. It has gradually expanded without losing sight of its philosophy: to produce wines with a distinct identity. For reds, the proportion of whole-cluster fermentation varies depending on the cuvée. High-quality aging processes enhance and refine the wines without making them overly smooth. The whites retain their finesse. The quality and consistency of the entire production are remarkable.
