"A confidential, high-quality vintage"

"(Sample taken from the barrel halfway through aging.) Lively and fresh, but lighter and less full-bodied. Discreet aromas. " (Jancis Robinson 2024). Referencing the cantata Carmina Burana, this Côte-Rôtie combines power, purity, complexity, and sensuality. Its luscious palate, mature tannins, and power that reveals itself as you taste it are sure to captivate! • Please note: limited quantities available!

Rated estate (2023 guide) 4 stars (Producers of very high quality, those who are the pride of French vineyards)

About the estate:

What remarkable progress for this new winemaker, who only started out in 2009. The constant care he devotes to his various plots and his meticulous work in the cellar enable him to produce Saint-Joseph, Condrieu, and Côte-Rôtie wines that rank among the best in their respective appellations. In 2020, the Côte-Rôtie Fongeant is close to perfection. The challenge for wine lovers will be to get their hands on a few bottles.

Rated estate (2024 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).

About the estate:

Created in 2008, this estate has gone from strength to strength year after year. It has gradually expanded without losing sight of its philosophy: to produce wines with a distinct identity. For red wines, the proportion of whole bunches varies depending on the cuvée. High-quality aging enhances and smooths the wines without overpowering them. The whites retain their finesse. The quality and consistency of the entire production are remarkable.
