Pierre-Jean Villa

Pierre-Jean Villa began his wine career in Burgundy in 1992. He worked for prestigious estates such as Mommessin and Clos de Tart. In 2003, he joined Yves Cuilleron, François Villard and Pierre Gaillard at Vins de Vienne, where he was in charge of the cellar for 6 years.

In 2009, Pierre-Jean Villa set out on his own, drawing on his many years of experience at leading French estates. He bought vines in the Northern Rhône and began his new life as an independent winemaker.

The same year, together with Olivier Decelle of Mas Amiel and Château Jean Faure, he created the Decelle-Villa domaine in Nuits-Saint-George, where he rediscovered the pleasure of working with Pinot Noir.

Today, Pierre-Jean Villa 's range of Rhône wines includes Condrieu, Saint-Joseph and Côte Rôtie.
