Pierre-Jean Villa
Pierre-Jean Villa began his career in winemaking in Burgundy in 1992. At the time, he worked for prestigious estates such as Mommessin and Clos de Tart. In 2003, he joined Yves Cuilleron, François Villard, and Pierre Gaillard at Vins de Vienne, where he oversaw the cellar for six years.

Drawing on his diverse experience at major French estates, Pierre-Jean Villa struck out on his own in 2009. He purchased vineyards in the Northern Rhône and began his new life as an independent winemaker.
That same year, he founded the Decelle-Villa estate in Nuits-Saint-Georges with Olivier Decelle of Mas Amiel and Château Jean Faure, where he rediscovered the joy of working with Pinot Noir.

Today, Pierre-Jean Villa ’s range of Rhône wines includes Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, and Côte Rôtie.
