Bettane & Desseauve

(2017 Vintage Notes)

Grown on stony soil composed of clay and schist, Peyre Blanche is a blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache. This wine opens with intense fruitiness on both the nose and the palate. Deliciously easy to drink, with an explosion of black fruit, it strikes a perfect balance with a refreshing finish. A delightful Cairanne!

About the estate:

Over the past 15 years, the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel has expanded by acquiring vineyards in the southern Rhône Valley. This strategy has proven successful both in the Luberon, with La Vieille Ferme, and in the other terroirs featured here. Their mastery of fermentation and appropriate aging techniques have played a major role in this success.
