"This beautiful estate produces a range of high-quality wines. Very clear and bright, this white wine stands out with an intense bouquet of white flowers with honeyed notes. The palate is equally aromatic, supple and very well-balanced, supported by a lovely liveliness. A young and flattering 2017 that will easily find its place." A selection of plots, mainly Viognier, seeking to combine minerality and generosity. A most delicious selection!

Rated estate (2022 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

François Dauvergne and Jean-François Ranvier are part of a new generation of young wine merchants in the Rhône Valley. Deeply involved in the production of their wines, they work with their winemaker friends throughout the year and preserve the expressions of the terroirs. The style is structured without excess, with perfect aromatic definition. The duo continues to evolve, and their range extends from Hermitage in the north to Luberon in the south, including Côte-Rôtie, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and Costières-de-Nîmes, and now even includes partnerships as far afield as Roussillon! Recently, the adventure has expanded to Bordeaux.

About wine:

This fine winery produces a range of high-quality wines. Very clear and bright, this white wine stands out with an intense nose of white flowers with honeyed nuances. The palate is equally aromatic, supple, and very well-balanced, supported by a lovely liveliness. A young and flattering 2017 that will easily find its place.

About the estate:

Founded in 2004 by François Dauvergne and Jean-François Ranvier, two wine professionals who decided to produce their own vintages after working for others, this wine merchant has gone from strength to strength over the years, producing high-quality wines from selected vineyards. In 2013, the two partners took over the Dom. des Muretins estate (Tavel and Lirac) and in 2014 developed a range of Bordeaux wines in collaboration with Patrice Hateau.

Subtle, fairly floral and sweet nose. Nice lively attack with a pleasant roundness.
