A sunny Côtes-du-Rhône crafted by Claire and Thomas, Marcel Richaud’s children, from grapes selected from the new terroirs acquired by the RICHAUD family. After five years of careful cultivation, the young Grenache vines replanted in 2017 contribute lovely fruitiness. They were blended with old Carignan for depth and a touch of Syrah for spice. With its lovely fruit and beautiful roundness, this traditional cuvée showcases the southern Côtes-du-Rhône.

About the estate:

The younger generation—Claire, Thomas, and, more recently, Édith, the youngest—is brilliantly carrying on the work of their father Marcel, an iconic figure of the Cairanne appellation. While honoring their heritage, they are injecting new energy into the estate, marked in particular by the acquisition of an additional 20 hectares, part of which borders the famous Ebrescades plot. The wines, consistently of remarkable quality, are becoming even more refined and precise in their expression. More precise aromatically and more refined in texture, they now combine depth and immediacy in an increasingly accomplished balance.
