“A red wine with character, enveloped in rich notes of stewed cherries!”

“Blackberries, roasted meat, bay leaves, and a hint of meat juice. Medium-bodied to full-bodied with silky tannins. The palate is dominated by intense notes of berries and herbs. Textured, dense, and well-balanced, with a vibrant, powdery finish. ” (James Suckling 2024). A wine that pairs well with a wide variety of dishes, from appetizers to dessert!

Rated estate (2018 guide) 1*Star (A high-quality, recommendable wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

For three generations, the Domaine des Pasquiers has been producing Côtes-du-Rhône, Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages Plan-de-Dieu, and Gigondas wines. The Plan-de-Dieu terroir consists primarily of red clay covered with rounded pebbles, while Gigondas lies close to the famous Dentelles de Montmirail. The winemaking and aging processes emphasize gentle extraction and well-integrated oak. The range is well-defined, and each vintage offers a superb balance.
