One of the most prestigious appellations in the northern Rhône, this white Hermitage boasts a lovely yellow color with golden highlights. Very full-bodied on the palate, with great finesse and length, the wine will develop a hint of honey after a few years. Sumptuous!

About the estate:

Philippe Desmeure and his daughter Émilie have successfully expanded this family-owned estate to 30 hectares of vineyards. The winemaking and aging in oak result in wines that are typically smooth on the palate. The estate demonstrates great consistency in both red and white wines, vintage after vintage. The 2017 vintage is excellent.

About the estate:

Until 1973, Alphonse Desmeure brought his harvest to the cooperative. His son Philippe began developing the estate in 1977, shifted production primarily to bottled wine, and expanded the vineyard—which now spans 36 hectares across several municipalities. His children, Émilie and Christophe, have joined the estate. It is a must-visit destination, producing wines of rare consistency.
