The Les Christins vineyard is an 8-hectare plot leased and managed by the Beaucastel team. Located in the commune of Sarrians, it is primarily planted with old vines averaging around 50 years of age. On stony terraces set atop clay, sand, and safre, the Grenache—which makes up 75% of the blend—and the Syrah that rounds it out produce a cuvée rich with the southern sun of the Dentelles de Montmirail. A beautiful, powerful, and structured wine!

About the estate:

Over the past 15 years, the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel has expanded by acquiring estates in the southern Rhône Valley. This strategy has proven successful both in the Luberon, with La Vieille Ferme, and in the other terroirs featured here. Their mastery of fermentation and appropriate aging techniques have played a major role in this success.
