"Syrah (50%), Grenache and Carignan collaborate on this oak-aged cuvée. Enchanting, rich and powerful, the nose develops scents of red and black fruits, iris and balsamic notes. The fruity aromas (blackberry, blackcurrant and cherry) are found in a delicate attack, followed by a liquorice woodiness that expresses itself in an ample, velvety body built on fine tannins. The finish is long, fresh and floral. Full-bodied and promising ". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2017)

Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2025) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
The ideal house for those who want to discover good Languedoc wines faithful to their terroir. Jérôme Joseph and Laurent Calmel are wine merchants without a winery. They mature their selected cuvées with the winegrowers from whom they buy them, respecting the flavors and terroirs of their origins. A wide gourmet range with many successful wines and a few stunning surprises.

About the domain :
In 1995, oenologist Laurent Calmel joined forces with Jérôme Joseph to found a trading house specializing in Languedoc-Roussillon terroir wines. The duo launched their label in 2007. He selects the plots, vinifies and ages the cuvées.

About the wine:
Young, black color. Fresh, fruity nose (blackcurrant, plum, periwinkle). A very supple, tender Roussillon that favors freshness. It's back to basics, the pleasure of fruit. You can't help but love it. For summer barbecues.
