"A bold character for this Faugères with delicious wild notes."

"The highest score for this Syrah (majority) vinified by infusion, which is utterly seductive. Fine, pure, and complex, the nose hesitates between black fruits, spices, and aromatic herbs. Round and fresh, the texture rolls deliciously over lightly sketched tannins and lingers on spices in the finish. A finely crafted, delicate, and simply delicious Faugères." (Le Guide Hachette 2026).

About wine:

The highest score for this Syrah (majority) vinified by infusion, which is utterly seductive. Refined, pure, and complex, the nose hesitates between black fruits, spices, and aromatic herbs. Round and fresh, the texture rolls deliciously over lightly sketched tannins and lingers on spices in the finish. A finely crafted, delicate, and simply delicious Faugères.

About the estate:

Laurent Calmel, an oenologist, joined forces with Jérôme Joseph in 1995 to found a wine merchant specializing in regional wines from Languedoc-Roussillon. The duo launched their label in 2007. He selects the plots, vinifies and ages the vintages.
