Calmel & Joseph - IGP Pays d'Oc Ams Tram Gram Altitude Chardonnay 2024
2*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
"A Chardonnay de Haut-Vol!
"Once again at the top of the bill, these haute-couture négociants have graced us with a remarkable and original Chardonnay. Subtle notes of resin give great cachet to a complex nose that hesitates between exotic fruits, flowers and a hint of smoke from the barrel. Very round and tactile, supported by careful oak and carried by perfect freshness, the palate is a real treat. A top-flight white that deserves a fine fish just grilled". (Le Guide Hachette 2026).

Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2025) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
The ideal house for those who want to discover good Languedoc wines faithful to their terroir. Jérôme Joseph and Laurent Calmel are wine merchants without a winery. They mature their selected cuvées with the winegrowers from whom they buy them, respecting the flavors and terroirs of their origins. A wide gourmet range with many successful wines and a few stunning surprises.

About the domain :
In 1995, oenologist Laurent Calmel joined forces with Jérôme Joseph to found a trading house specializing in Languedoc-Roussillon terroir wines. The duo launched their label in 2007. He selects the plots, vinifies and ages the cuvées.
