"A top-notch Chardonnay!"

Once again at the top of the bill, these haute couture merchants treat us to a remarkable and original Chardonnay. Subtle notes of resin lend great character to a complex nose that vacillates between exotic fruits, flowers, and a hint of smoke from the barrel. Very round and tactile, supported by careful oak aging and carried by perfect freshness, the palate is truly delightful. A high-flying white that deserves to be paired with a delicately grilled fish." (Le Guide Hachette 2026).

Rated estate (2025 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

The ideal place for those who want to discover the best Languedoc wines that remain faithful to their terroir. Jérôme Joseph and Laurent Calmel are wine merchants without a cellar. They age selected vintages at the wineries where they purchase them, respecting the flavors and terroirs of origin. A wide range of delicious wines, including many successful vintages and a few amazing surprises.

About the estate:

Laurent Calmel, an oenologist, joined forces with Jérôme Joseph in 1995 to found a wine merchant specializing in regional wines from Languedoc-Roussillon. The duo launched their label in 2007. He selects the plots, vinifies and ages the vintages.
