Domaine rated (guide 2025) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)

About the domain :

The ideal house for those who want to discover good Languedoc wines faithful to their terroir. Jérôme Joseph and Laurent Calmel are wine merchants without a winery. They mature their selected cuvées with the winegrowers from whom they buy them, respecting the flavors and terroirs of their origins. A wide gourmet range with many successful wines and a few stunning surprises.

About the domain :

In 1995, oenologist Laurent Calmel joined forces with Jérôme Joseph to found a trading house specializing in Languedoc-Roussillon terroir wines. The duo launched their label in 2007. He selects the plots, vinifies and ages the cuvées.

About the wine:

The oak has left clear impressions of vanilla, coconut and mocha on the fruit. But the blueberry and blackcurrant are ripe and pure, and there's a delicious undergrowth of purple sage. The tannins are elegant, moderate and fresh.
