Wine rated (2027 guide) 2* Stars (Outstanding Wine)

Rated estate (2018 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the wine:

This wine immediately evokes the garrigue landscapes whose fragrance it carries, complemented by notes of burlat and violet. A fresh, vibrant bouquet that is echoed on the palate by a rich, refreshing flavor, with pronounced tannins that give it depth. A balanced and flavorful wine that pairs beautifully with duck breast.

About the estate:

All that remains of the building constructed in the 12th century by Cistercian monks is the magnificent tower nestled against the rock face. Jean and Bernard Dauré purchased the estate in 1974. The mid-19th-century silkworm farm now houses the Contemporary Art Space, which is located next to one of the first winemaker-run restaurants established in France, open during the summer. The vineyard covers 90 hectares.
