“Fruit that makes him look just like Rimage!”

A blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Carignan, this wine offers aromas of violets and dark fruits. Supple and full-bodied, its velvety tannins are enhanced by hints of garrigue and notes of pepper and spices. Perfect with grilled red meats or a charcuterie platter!

Rated estate (2018 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the estate:

All that remains of the building constructed in the 12th century by Cistercian monks is the magnificent tower clinging to the rock face. Jean and Bernard Dauré purchased the estate in 1974. The mid-19th-century silkworm farm now houses the Contemporary Art Space, which sits next to one of the first winemaker-run restaurants established in France, open during the summer. The vineyard covers 90 hectares.
