This cuvée, a bold blend of the three Grenache varieties planted in 1898, is produced from low yields (6 hl/ha) and offers aromas of white peach, cut grass, and honey. The wine exhibits a beautiful balance between stone fruit and acidity, with a light, airy, and refreshing palate. The salty finish provides a lovely length.

Wine rated (2023 guide) 92/100 (2020 vintage)

Rated estate (2023 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

Paul Old cultivates these old vines using biodynamic methods in the region between Corbières and Roussillon. His minimalist approach in the cellar yields some standout wines (Prioundo and L'Extrême, both whites) but also some less successful ones, with certain vintages suffering from excessive carbonation and, at times, a lack of clarity. However, the wines age well and benefit from aeration.
