"A friendly, fresh, and mineral-driven white wine"

In the heart of the Côte Vermeille and its terraced black schist slopes, the Macabeu produces a wine with lovely minerality and aromas of grapefruit, exotic fruits, and honey, while the palate is dominated by lemon. A wine bursting with freshness!

Review by Mr. GILLES D. Published on May 26, 2025

A good balance between roundness and liveliness, brought by a stony acidity that energizes a full-bodied, juicy palate with aromas of grapefruit and lemon, complemented by delicate notes of fresh almond. A refreshing and lingering finish with salty undertones. Under the pine trees with friends, an unforgettable dining experience that begins with an aperitif featuring anchoiade, followed by an octopus salad with garlic and lemon, and concludes with a hearty Catalan cargolade. Rating: 3.9.
