Médaille d'Or
Concours Paris
“A great ‘tuilé’ that remains at the top of its game: its superb color is adorned with the linden-green hues of the rancio. Dried fruits, wax, dark tobacco, chocolate, cashews, walnuts, juniper—this wine is an aromatic journey into a world of rare richness, both on the nose and on the palate. A delight and a marvel of balance. ” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2016)

About the wine:
A full-bodied wine that remains at the top of its game: its superb color is adorned with the linden-hued highlights of the rancio. About the estate:
Founded in 1910, the Maury cooperative winery is now the oldest in the department still in operation. Following the winegrowers’ revolts of 1907, it brought together more than 130 winegrowers. Today, the winery manages 870 hectares of its members’ vineyards; it specializes in Grenache, which produces the traditional natural sweet wines and, since 2011, dry Maury wines.
