Vignerons de Maury

Established in 1910 by 132 winegrowers, Les Vignerons de Maury is a cooperative of men and women attached to their terroir and committed to the development of the Maury appellation.

In 1980, to stand out from the trade and other appellations, the Cave des Vignerons de Maury created the "Maury" bottle for its Vins Doux Naturels, with its squat shape. In 1990, tastes changed, and the range expanded to include fruitier, more gourmet wines.

In 2000, on the initiative of cooperative members, part of the Maury vineyard was converted to red wine. With an exceptional terroir conducive to the cultivation of Grenache Noir, the winegrowers decided to start producing dry wines. In 2001, it's official, and in 2011, the Maury appellation obtains recognition of the term "dry" as a still wine.
