"The 2016 Akmé Maury Dry is aged exclusively in concrete tanks. A blend of 70% Grenache Noir and 30% Syrah, this wine is the perfect example of what this black schist terroir can produce. It is full-bodied and concentrated, with supple tannins and a creamy texture; its structure also has a fine grain and is built upon notes of crushed schist stones. A surge of cherry and peppery spice aromas that linger on the finish.” (Wine Advocate 2018 – Robert Parker) Delivered in a wooden crate for any order of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding “Point Relais” delivery method)

Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2019 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)
About the estate:
Founded in 1910, the Maury wine cooperative is now the oldest in the department still in operation. Following the winegrowers’ revolts of 1907, it brought together more than 130 growers. Today, the cooperative manages 870 hectares of its members’ vineyards; it specializes in Grenache, which produces the traditional natural sweet wines and, since 2011, dry Maury wines.
