"The 2016 Akmé Maury sec is aged exclusively in concrete vats. A blend of 70% Grenache Noir and 30% Syrah, this wine is the perfect example of what this black schist terroir can produce. It is full-bodied and concentrated, with supple tannins and a creamy texture; it also has a fine-grained structure, built on notes of schist stone fragments. A wave of cherry and peppery spice aromas linger on the finish." (Wine Advocate 2018 - Robert Parker) Delivery in wooden crates for all orders of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery method).

Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2019 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About the estate:
Founded in 1910, the Maury cooperative winery is now the oldest in the department still in operation. After the wine revolts of 1907, it brought together more than 130 owners. Today, the winery has 870 hectares of land belonging to its members; it lives off Grenache grapes, which produce traditional natural sweet wines and, since 2011, dry Maury wines.
