On the limestone scree slopes of Mont Granier, "les Abymes" refers to the disaster that buried the village in 1248. What a shame! A Savoie vintage classified since 1973, Micraster reveals the full personality and potential of Jacquère: a nose of flint and floral aromas, a precise, mineral palate with white flowers, citrus, and white-fleshed fruits. A finely crafted wine with beautiful bitter notes on the finish, it's delicious and leaves you wanting more! Please note that quantities are limited.

Terroirs

Vines over 50 years old on clay-limestone soil resulting from the collapse of Mont Granier in Chartreuse in 1248. Southern slopes of the Lake St André moraine, in the commune of Les Marches. A chaotic terroir, composed of hillsides where vines grow (Les Mollards) and valleys where marshes, wetlands, and ponds have formed. The area is also characterized by large boulders, some as big as houses, that were also created by the landslide. This is the birthplace of the Jacquère grape variety.

Lacks acidity, a little too polished for a Jacquère
