Dominique and Thomas Blard craft this Roussette as a wine focused on balance and structure. The attack is soft, dominated by notes of rose and hawthorn. The mid-palate is dominated by the power of this rich, full-bodied grape variety, with notes of grilled pineapple and almond and a long, smooth finish. Over time, the wine will develop honey flavors, but in the meantime, it is wonderful as an aperitif.
