Dominique and Thomas Blard craft this Roussette as a wine focused on balance and structure. The attack is soft, dominated by notes of rose and hawthorn. The mid-palate is dominated by the power of this rich, full-bodied grape variety, with notes of toasted pineapple and almond, leading to a long, smooth finish. With time, the wine will develop honey-like flavors; in the meantime, it’s fantastic as an aperitif.
