Château de Mérande

Located in the Combe de Savoie region of France, in Arbin, Château de Mérande is the fruit of several generations' work: the Genoux family had already been cultivating vines in the 13th century in Abymes, and moved to Arbin in the 20th century.

The 2000s marked a major evolution for the estate.

In 2000, the vineyard was enlarged with the re-opening of former hillsides. In 2001, the renovated winery was moved to Château de Mérande - one of the emblems of local history.

Since 2009, the Genoux brothers have managed the Château de Mérande vineyard according to biodynamic principles, in addition to certified organic viticulture.

The 12 hectares that make up this Arbin property are planted mainly with Mondeuse.
