(2015 Vintage Notes)
finesse
to be decanted
age-worthy wine

Its extended aging makes this a concentrated wine with excellent aging potential. Its bold character is revealed through noticeable yet well-integrated oak and a lovely structure that lends it liveliness, finishing with a lovely, fresh fruitiness and great finesse. A Cahors with great potential.

About the estate:

One day... Stéphane Azémar, a trained architect, and Véronique, an archaeologist, left the Paris region in 1999 to settle on a small estate in Duravel—a village sheltered from the north wind by a ring of hills—and make winemaking their livelihood. They manage their vineyard (7 hectares on the third terrace of the Lot) as a certified organic operation. They also produce saffron.
