“A lovely basket of red and black berries with floral notes—that is the aromatic gift of this expressive, indulgent wine. The structure still feels firm, but it promises longevity, as the body is dense enough to support it. ” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2022). A rich and powerful Cahors, it can be enjoyed now but will undoubtedly age gracefully for many years to come.

About the wine:

A lovely basket of red and black berries with floral notes—that is the aromatic gift of this expressive, indulgent wine. The structure still feels firm, but it promises longevity, as the body is dense enough to support it.

About the estate:

One day... Stéphane Azémar, an architect by training, and Véronique, an archaeologist, left the Paris region in 1999 to settle on a small property in Duravel—a village sheltered from the north wind by a curve of hills—and make winemaking their livelihood. They manage their vineyard (7 hectares on the third terrace of the Lot) as a certified organic operation. They also grow saffron.
