About the estate:
One day... Stéphane Azémar, an architect by training, and Véronique, an archaeologist, left the Paris region in 1999 to settle on a small property in Duravel—a village sheltered from the north wind by a curve of hills—and make winemaking their livelihood. They manage their vineyard (7 hectares on the third terrace of the Lot) as a certified organic operation. They also grow saffron.

Fabulous You can really taste the red berries This Malbec is among the very best The tannins have rounded out nicely The oak is well integrated into the overall profile I hope the winery will offer it again later this year.
