"A Malbec with great potential!"

This great vintage offers a full-bodied bouquet of red and black fruits, with lovely, subtle woody notes. Peppery and licorice-flavored, the complex and refined palate features noticeable tannins on the finish, which is enchantingly long. This triple gold medalist will be the perfect accompaniment to a delicious duck breast with orange!

Rated 3* Stars (A high-quality product that serves as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Alain-Dominique Perrin has worked tirelessly to make the magnificent Lagrézette estate one of the beacons of Cahors’s renaissance. The progress is evident following the renovation of the cellar; the wines have gained in elegance, and the fruit is better highlighted by the aging process. We particularly appreciate the Château and Clos-Marguerite vintages, which are remarkable this year.

About the estate:

A flagship estate in the Cadurcian wine region, acquired in 1985 by businessman Alain-Dominique Perrin. It is renowned for the distinctive architecture of its 16th-century manor house, with its pepperpot towers, steep roofs, and dovecote; for its winemaking heritage (82 ha), which dates back to the 16th century; and, above all, for its ambitious wines, which are regularly featured in these pages.
