About the estate:

When Jean-Mary and Catherine Le Bihan took over the family farm, they set their sights on the hillsides of Duras. It was a wise decision, as they have elevated the estate to one of the best in the Southwest. In this appellation, which is struggling to gain recognition, the estate uses common grape varieties to craft original wines that are enjoyable when young or built for aging—such as the superb Perrette and the 2014 Noisetiers, which we tasted from a magnum. Clémence, one of their daughters, has joined them.

A wine that does justice to its primary grape variety, featuring a ruby-purple color and a nose of blackcurrant and cherry with a distinct freshness. The finish is marked by fine, well-integrated tannins, resulting in a supple and smooth palate.
