"This Sémillon, aged for 24 months in barrels and then 12 months in vats, displays the breadth of the great white wines of the South, with a lively energy combined with a fiery freshness." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2021 - RVF) It will keep well for a few years in the cellar.

Wine rating (2021 guide) 92/100 Favorite

Rated estate (2021 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About wine:

This Semillon, aged for 24 months in barrels and then 12 months in vats, displays the breadth of the great white wines of the South, with a lively energy combined with a fiery freshness.

About the estate:

Jean-Mary and Catherine Le Bihan took over the family farm and decided to focus on the hillsides of Duras. It was a wise decision, as they have elevated the estate to one of the best in the Southwest. In this appellation, which is struggling to emerge, this estate uses common grape varieties to produce original wines that are pleasant to drink young or suitable for aging, such as the superb Perrette and Les Noisetiers 2014, tasted in magnum. Clémence, one of their daughters, has joined them.
