“A rich and aromatic Fronton—a must-try!”

“The intensity of the color is matched by that of the nose, which opens with red fruit, menthol, and a wilder, animal note. On the palate, the wine is round and full-bodied, with a subtle acidity that lends it vibrancy and a long finish.” (Le Guide Hachette 2024)

Rated estate (2022 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the wine:

The intensity of the color is matched by the intensity of the nose, which opens with red fruit, menthol, and a wilder, animal note. On the palate, the wine is round and full-bodied, with a subtle acidity that lends it vibrancy and a long finish.

About the estate:

A former computer scientist and Parisian, Guy Salmona switched careers to become a winemaker in Fronton when he purchased this estate. In 2009, he began the transition to organic farming (now complete) for his 45 hectares of vineyards. A trusted name in the Fronton region.
