About the wine:

The 2023 Graacher Himmelreich Spätlese is very intense and open, with a complex, briny nose reminiscent of crushed slate, as well as ripe, intense, and dense citrus aromas intertwined with notes of lemon. Round and refined on the palate, this is a lively and flavorful Riesling, with a firm, mineral structure and floral aromas leading to a complex, youthful finish. This Spätlese should be aged for at least 5 years. Declared alcohol content: 8%. Natural cork. Tasted at the winery starting January 24, 2025. 2030–2070
