"An Auslese that stimulates with its finesse, juiciness, bite, and salinity, making your mouth water, according to Robert Parker!"
"This young Mosel Riesling Auslese has a liveliness and precision that is often lacking in these wines, which are often masked by the richness of botrytis. I love the freshness of mint and chamomile that draws you into this juicy, concentrated wine and also makes it very delicate on the palate, with medium body. Incredible precision and subtlety in the very long finish. Try to be patient, because this is a marathon runner. It can be drunk now, but it will be better from 2026 onwards." (James Suckling 2024)

The Graacher Himmelreich Auslese 2023 is very clear and precise on the nose, elegant and delicate, revealing aromas of mango and other tropical fruits as well as ripe peach. Flavorful and crystalline on the palate, this Himmelreich Auslese is very stimulating with its finesse, juiciness, bite, and mouthwatering salinity. About wine:
Lemony, with notes of peach, intense freshness, and a slight herbal touch. On the palate, it is beautifully pure and fresh, round, creamy, with notes of lemon and (almost) apricot. Sweetness and acidity are in perfect harmony. A baby. 2028-2043
Vinous
Wine rated (2024 guide) 96/100
About wine:
The Riesling Graacher Himmelreich Auslese 2023, made with virtually no botrytis from perfectly ripe grapes, offers subtle notes of stone and yeast. The palate reveals aromas of mirabelle plum jelly with lovely hints of lemon balm and fern, wonderfully balanced by a tangy, piquant freshness of lime and mainly pale lemon. The finish is reminiscent of lemon and yellow plum sorbet, with an exquisite freshness that cleanses the palate while retaining a refined sweetness. Incredibly fine, slender, and so well-balanced. 2028-2060
