"To the tune of 'Blouge'... (80% Gewurztraminer – 20% Pinot Noir!)"
"The bouquet is clear, precise, and fresh on the nose, offering aromas of cherry, flowers, and tropical fruit. Elegant and very refined on the palate, this is a dense, finely tannic wine—light to medium-bodied, finely textured, and flavorful—with a long finish, delicate, spicy tannins, and an unmistakable Pinot character. In reality, this is a Gewurztraminer (at least 80%), and these aromas only reveal themselves on the finish—and only if one knows it is a Gewurztraminer. It is a serious, even complex wine, persistent and stimulating” (Wine Advocate 2025)

About the wine:
Le Rien ne Bouge 2023, with its cherry-red hue, is a white wine whose must was drawn directly from the press over the pomace of a red Pinot Noir (just like Zusslin’s Ophry). The bouquet is clear, precise, and fresh on the nose, offering aromas of cherry, flowers, and tropical fruits. Elegant and very refined on the palate, it is a dense and finely tannic wine, yet light to medium-bodied, finely textured and flavorful, with a long finish, delicate and spicy tannins, and an undeniably Pinot character. In reality, this is a Gewurztraminer (at least 80%), and these aromas only reveal themselves on the finish—and only if one knows it is a Gewurztraminer. It is a serious, even complex wine, persistent and stimulating, officially classified as a rosé but sold as a red wine at the estate. Declared alcohol content: 13.5%. Glass stopper. Tasted at Domaine Deiss in November 2024.

About the wine:
A deep rosé color in *Rien ne Bouge*, with peppery and floral notes, and a gently infused, refined texture.
About the estate:
Mathieu [Deiss] also founded the Vignoble du Rêveur using his mother’s vineyards in Bennwihr (where he produces, among other things, top-tier orange wines). The wines are unconventional for the region, which can be a bit disorienting for the consumer, but the result is magnificent. With a few years of hindsight, we can analyze the precision of the terroir definitions and these wines’ ability to maintain their own balance. Don’t miss the estate’s unique geo-sensory tasting experience, which helps you understand the relationship between the wine’s characteristics and the terroir that gave birth to it.

About the wine:
This extraordinary natural wine, made from a Gewürztraminer fermented on Pinot Noir skins, has a pale red or orange hue. It is bursting with aromas of summer flowers and baked nectarines, with a full-bodied, medium-bodied palate. Its energy and minerality make it dance on your palate despite its power. Made from biodynamically grown grapes certified by Demeter. Unfiltered. Ready to drink or for aging. Glass stopper.
