Albert Mann - Pinot Gris Altenbourg Vendanges Tardives 2015 (50cl)
16/20
Bettane & Desseauve
92/100
Robert Parker
"The 2015 Pinot Gris Altenbourg Vendanges Tardives is really warm, rich, and sweet, with aromas of caramelized apple on the nose and palate. Round, spicy, and with lovely acidity and tight tannins, this is an elegant and complex Vendanges Tardives with good length on the palate that should be kept for another 5 to 10 years. (Wine Advocate 2017 - Robert Parker) The very expression of the terroir.

Wine rated (2019 guide) 16/20 (Very good wine)
Rated estate (2024 guide) 4 stars (Producers of very high quality, those who are the pride of French vineyards)
About the estate:
Jacky Barthelmé sums it up bluntly: "We are very happy with 2021 because it was a winemaker's vintage. Those who were in the vineyards got grapes. It didn't happen by itself. " And it must be said that tasting the range proves him right: the Pinot Noirs are as successful as ever, the Rieslings are beautiful, and even the Pinot Gris wines are more dry than in the past, which can only delight us.

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated estate (2024 guide) 3 stars (These represent the excellence of French vineyards. The best terroirs cultivated by the greatest winemakers. Tasting their wine is always a magical moment.)
About the estate:
The estate, born from the union of the Mann and Barthelmé families, two great winemaking dynasties since the 17th century, produces wines of the highest quality, emblematic of the very best that Alsace has to offer. Maurice, an inspired biodynamic farmer and part-time water diviner, has brought purity to the wines through meticulous work in the vineyard. Jacky and his son Antoine have a keen sense of winemaking for both whites and reds. The balance of the wines, their digestibility, and their depth make them models for all wine lovers. Their four reds are at the top of Alsatian production and among the finest in France. This success has made them rare wines.
